Honey and Earth

Honey and Earth celebrates the dialogue between landscapes, cultures and the materials that connect us to the earth.

Created with natural pigments collected in France, Italy and on Gumbaynggirr Country (Australia, with permission), together with Australian healing clay, the painting evokes geological layers, aerial landscapes and flowing rivers. Golden tones meet earthy browns, creating a composition that is both grounding and luminous.

The work reflects my ongoing exploration of how natural pigments carry memory. Every colour originates from a specific place, allowing the land itself to become part of the artwork.

Rich textures invite the viewer to slow down, discovering new details with every encounter. The painting offers a quiet space for contemplation while bringing warmth, elegance and a strong connection to nature into contemporary interiors.
